The Data Protection Officer (DPO) Hands-on workshop offers a hands-on training programme that equips professionals, managers and executives (PMEs) with new competencies to enable them to perform their jobs as data protection officers (DPOs). This training has been certified as consistent with the criteria set by the Office of the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDC). It also offers participants a roadmap towards international certification.
Based on a practical approach, this three-day course provides DPOs with the competencies to develop and implement their own data protection management programme to operationalise the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) according to their organisation’s business processes.
Upon completion, all participants will receive a DPO proficiency certificate from the Data Protection Excellence Centre (DPEX).
We don’t just train you – we show you how to assess and treat compliance risks in the context of your organisation's activities.
At the end of the course, you can document and implement your own organisation’s data protection management programme with the help of a data protection management software tool.
