Data governance forms the basis for company-wide data management and makes the efficient use of trustworthy data possible. The efficient management of data is an important task that requires centralised control mechanisms.
All organisations need to plan how they use data so that it’s handled consistently throughout the business, to support business outcomes. This module, Managing Performance, Stakeholders, Team Strengths for Data Governance, seeks to teach participants who are keen to learn about how the role of data governance impacts today's business environments, stakeholders and company objectives. Participants will learn how to identify and map out key stakeholder relationships, needs and interests, and coordinate with stakeholders on a day-to-day basis.
Each participant will be provided with a complimentary CliftonStrengths Assessment to take so as to understand the participant's top five strengths. By understanding the strengths and how it applies to a team, senior managers will now have a more relatable example of harnessing an employee's strengths to achieve the organisation's objectives.

PRE-REQUISITE
Participants should preferably have tertiary qualifications and/or at least 3 years of working experience.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- Learn the importance of performance management based on OKR (Objectives and Key Results)
- Develop and maximise strategic stakeholder management roadmap based on optimising performance that is aligned to the organisation's vision using OCEG's GRC Capability Model
- Use 34 CliftonStrength Themes to enhance team performance which in turn allows participants to lead discussions and negotiations to influence internal key stakeholder decisions based on leveraging the respective strengths
- Address escalated issues and team conflicts raised by or encountered with stakeholders by leveraging 4 distinct domains of leadership strengths (Executing, Influencing, Relationship Building, and Strategic Thinking)
ASSESSMENTS
As part of the requirement for SkillsFuture Singapore, there will be an assessment conducted at the end of the course. The mode of assessment, which is up to the trainer’s discretion, may be an online quiz, a presentation or based on classroom exercises.
Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment in order to receive a digital Certificate of Completion issued by Singapore Management University.

CERTIFICATION
Advanced Certificate in Governance, Risk Management and Data Compliance
Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment for each of the 6 modules within 3 years in order to be awarded the digital Advanced Certificate in Governance, Risk Management and Data Compliance issued by Singapore Management University.

- Organisation must be registered or incorporated in Singapore
- Employment size of not more than 200 or with annual sales turnover of not more than SGD100 million
- Trainees must be hired in accordance with the Employment Act and fully sponsored by their employers for the course
