Data protection professionals are increasingly required to be experts in privacy regulations as well as well-versed in PDPA from the operations perspective.
This course lays the practical foundation and competencies necessary for a career in the new era of compliance in personal data protection. It covers the 10 Obligations and DNC of Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act from an operational and information life cycle perspective.
Participants will learn best practices and identify the risks for complying with the PDPA as well as enforcement cases from the PDPC.

ASSESSMENTS
As part of the requirement for SkillsFuture Singapore, there will be an assessment conducted at the end of the course. The mode of assessment, which is up to the trainer’s discretion, may be an online quiz, a presentation or based on classroom exercises.
Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment in order to receive a digital Certificate of Completion issued by Singapore Management University.
