Kevin Shepherdson

Tommy is a certified Adult Educator and has been conducting training for various ATOs as well as corporate clients. He is also a Certified Information Privacy Manager, trained in both the local privacy regulations as well as the general awareness of the EU-GDPR regulations. With more than 30 years of corporate experience, Tommy had served in various senior positions and had been involved in the setting up of corporate offices in ASEAN, Indo-China, and the UAE since 2005.

PRE-REQUISITE
This course does not have specific prerequisites; however, a basic understanding of the PDPA would be beneficial as the course delves into the practical aspects of legal processes.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

ASSESSMENTS

As part of the requirement for SkillsFuture Singapore, there will be an assessment conducted at the end of the course. The mode of assessment, which is up to the trainer’s discretion, may be an online quiz, a presentation or based on classroom exercises.

Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment in order to receive a digital Certificate of Participation issued by Singapore Management University.

Practitioner Certificate

Participants who have received their Certificate of Participation have the option of registering for an examination administered by the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) where they will be issued with the Practitioner Certificate upon passing the examination.

Participants will need to take this examination within 6 months from date of course completion. For more information about this examination, please click here.

Note: The examination fee of $54.50 (inclusive of GST) applies.

Upon successful completion of the course, every participant will receive a Certificate of Participation issued by Singapore Management University. Participants who miss the assessment will not be awarded the certificate issued by SMU. Participants will receive their certificate within 2 weeks from the end of the course. This certificate will be in the form of a digital certificate that runs on blockchain and is tamper-proof and verifiable.
